As of recent occurrences I am Sad to say that this will be my last post. It has truly been an honor and I wouldn't take any moment of the past three and a half years back. This is Big Gar signing off. May the legend live on.
I've always been able to move crowds and groups towards a certain goal or objective. I prefer to lead the group but it also depends on what the objective is. I find it much easier to lead a group towards an objective I am very passionate about. Passion and motive is what makes a leader great. If you can show your followers you truly do care about a topic or goal it will be easier to get them just as passionate as you. I was Class President my junior year and had to run many events which was not always an easy task. In the end I loved being in charge and making a difference. Plus who doesn't love the attention as a leader!
In a world where money controls everything. What do you value most? Personally happiness has to top the list. Without happiness whats the point in living? With no happiness everyday is just a grind and there are never and exciting moments or moments of thrilling joy. Love is needed in the world without love love you feel alone, surrounded by your own thoughts with no where and no one to escape to. Why would you ever want to live with no one to love or be loved by? I just don't see the logic in it. Freedom is crucial to a life. With no freedom you will never be able to experience life and find out who you really are. If you are tied down and sheltered your whole life how are you supposed to experience the real world and learn different ways and techniques of living. Freedom is such a great opportunity if you can possess it and run with it you will be happy. I listened to a song once and the rapper said "Money is the root of all evil, yet money is the root of all people". This phrase hit me hard, like driving into a brick wall at full speed. Why does everyone revolve their lives around money? All it is is a piece of paper. Yes you need it in order to survive, but that shouldn't be your main purpose in life. Enjoy the real world while you can. Life is a precious thing you never know when your time might come. Live it, learn it, and love it while you can.
What's poppin' people? I had a thought occur the other day, what do teenagers know more about than adults? The first two things that popped into my mind were Technology and Lingo. If you ask most adults how to do something on the computer they will have no idea what your talking about where as most teens could answer your question right then and there or figure it out pretty quickly. The teenage Lingo has changed so much since our adults era. So how could they possibly keep up with it. Most teens have a different lingo than many adults.
My ideal day would be wake up at 10am start to chill, walk in to a gorgeous stack of m&m pancakes. Then hit up some Fifa 16 and score some gnarly screamers with my boy Paul Pogba. At this point I would have called my homies to come over and do ruffian activities like hit up the mall or go mess around in target. I would also love to take a nature hike and really experience the beauty of the world with the guys who mean the most to me. For lunch it would have to be a sick turkey cranberry sandwich with some mashed potatoes drenched in gravy. In the afternoon I would love to play some soccer and chill with my boys. Go see a movie in Imax. Hit up some super smash bros then go to a party and tear it up with my day ones.
Although Juventus did not walk away with three points yesterday we still obtained one. In our Champions league match up we went down 1-0 to Borussia M'Gladbach in the 19th minute from a goal scored by Fabian Johnson. Right before half Juventus had a gorgeous run by the man, the myth, the legend, Paul Pogba who lofted a beautiful cross into right back Stephan Lichtsteiner who made finish it with no problem. This was Lichtsteiner's first game back after being out due to an injury. What a way to come back! Sadly it ended in a tie with Hernanes obtaining a red card from a poorly timed tackle. Pogba not only went off this game but in the game prior he scored a screamer that was so delicate it could make a grown man cry. https://drive.google.com/drive/shared-with-me
Check out my podcast! I'm talking about pancakes to die for. These pancakes are so soft, delectable, savory... There's a rumor a man once died of this delicious pancake. The only way to finish off these pancakes is with an iron gut. I'm taking chocolate chips that melt on your tongue with a soft pancake to fill your hearts desire. Anytime I am near Pozzi's I have to stop. The way the people treat you is heavenly. You feel like a god amongst men while sitting in their outdated but highly fashionable booth's. The aroma that hits you when you step inside.
When applying for college cost is one of the biggest factors. The prices are ridiculous. You can spend up top $80,000 per year just to learn about something you will spend the rest of your life doing just to pay back your college loans. When you are so far in debt is it even worth it to go to school? There's such a big debate of whether or not going to college is a necessity in this day and age. Yes you will in the long run get paid more, but if you pay so much just to get paid more does it just get balanced out in the end? Now I'm not saying college should be free, but it shouldn't make you financially bankrupt. The professors and everyone else at the facility needs to get paid, but why do they charge us so much? It's not like they need the excess of money. They are flying by with flashing colors with all of our money and it simply isn't just.
Most waiters/waitresses make little to no money on with their wages. Most of their money comes from tips. I talked with my friend Rory who is a manager at a very high end restaurant the Community Table. We had a very lengthy talk about wages and tip money and how much percent each position earns from the nightly tips. What he told me absolutely blew my mind. 65% of the nights tips go to the servers! that's absurd! but they also only make around five dollars an hour. So by getting rid of tipping in all restaurants becoming a server makes little to no sense. By doing away with tipping you pretty much are saying we should end the profession of a waiter/waitress. This doesn't mean that you should be expected to tip... Your server should have to earn their tip by being kind, thoughtful, and going out of their way to make your meal the best it can be.
